It is on the second visit, where we really determine (or at least, get closer to knowing) what is causing your symptoms…and what I recommend for treatment and resolution of your symptoms.
Again, when you first enter my office, you will go to the front desk, and fill out a 1 page sign-in sheet (you will do this at the beginning of each visit)…this is our continuous record of: how you are feeling that day?; if your condition has improved, stayed the same, or gotten worse; where is your pain located?; what kinds of treatments were performed?; what the cost of treatment was?; how much did you pay toward your treatment?; and when your next scheduled visit is? Usually, there is no waiting at my office. Once you have filled out your sign-in sheet, you will be called back to the therapy room for whatever therapies have been recommended.
After you are finished with your therapy, you will be taken to a treatment room. It is here, where I go over your examination and x-ray findings with you….explaining: how and why you are having certain symptoms?; how long you may have this condition?; complications to your condition; what treatments are recommended?; how much treatment is indicated?; what is your out-of-pocket cost for treatment?; can a payment plan be worked out for treatment?; what additional diagnostic tests will be needed?; will co-treatment with another specialist be needed? This is a time when you may ask any questions concerning your condition, treatment or financial obligations.
Once you have committed to a treatment plan, I perform the chiropractic adjustment(s). Finally, you will schedule your next visit at the front desk and pay for what services were done that day. The second visit, typically, lasts about 30-45 minutes from start to finish.
